This past week, I've really been able to feel the baby every now and again. David even got to feel the baby kicking which was really exciting for the both of us. My appetite has grown like crazy and I now feel the need to eat almost constantly. Toast with strawberry jam (made by my wonderful husband) has become a daily evening snack for me :). My food cravings are very specific and unfortunately as of right now, the few things that I'm craving are unavailable here in Finland. C'mon Finns, why don't you have shaved ice?!
Well, not much else to update on, but here's a picture of the baby bump - sorry my hand is kind of in the way, but my shirt wasn't cooperating with me wanting to show off my belly.
Sounds like you need to figure out how to make shaved ice. Thanks for sharing your baby bump.

ReplyDeleteOh cute baby bump. :) And lol to wanting to eat all the time. Part of the process for many of us. ;) Shaved ice huh? Can anything substitute? Fortunately - sometimes what we crave changes. Hopefully it will and it will be something you can obtain over there.

ReplyDeleteHeather, I miss you guys too! Wish we had been able to get together before we left, but it was so hectic (for both of us, I'm sure!). If my belly is any indication, the baby is getting big, but we won't have an ultrasound for another couple of weeks thanks to the delay in being able to get into the doctor! It's frustrating, but I'm looking forward to learning more about the "system" here.
